Well, as you can see my name is amanda most of my friends just call me manda.

Here's a little bit about myself for now…..this will most likely be a work in progress as I mold it….so please be patient :)

I love to read and I consider myself somewhat of a geek. I love theatre and writing. There's something so incredibly perfect about the illusions.

I can (and I have) spent hours in a bookstore.

I also absolutely love to travel.

I'm a fairly open person but there's also a lot that I keep to myself. I have a hard time trusting a lot of people. I can be loud and boisterous but also extremely quite. I tend to overanalyze….and I drive myself crazy. I love being around my family and friends. I like taking too many pictures, I laugh too much and too loud. For the most part I am overly optimistic.  I'm not naive, I just seem that way. I bite my tongue more than I should. I'm becoming a stronger person. I prefer the truth, even if it is harsh. I talk too much but there are a few people who I am comfortable enough with to just sit in complete silence. I hate people who are rude and people who don't know how to tip. I love rainy summer nights and sitting out on the dock. I feel older than I actually am though I don't always act my age. I hate when people are so serious all the time. A person has to have some fun. Most importantly, I love life. I believe that everything happens for a reason and though we may not know what that reason is, it always works out in the end…somehow. I'm a firm believer in the phrase “you can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, well you just might find, you get what you need.”

I'm open to new ideas and I love meeting new people.

Learning is a lifelong process. I love discussing and debating issues. I think that there are some issues that it would be fantastic if everyone could agree on. But for the most part, what a boring place the world would be if we all agreed on everything!
